What is a Responsible Gambling limit?

A Responsible Gaming limit is any sort of limit you place on your account that can last anywhere from hours to months at a time. This is so you have full control over your own usage of your online casino account.

What type of RG limits are there?

Loss Limit

This lets you control the net amount of money you can lose on BetBeast over a day, week or month. Once you’ve hit your limit, you won’t be able to play on BetBeast again until your limit resets. For example: If you set a loss limit of €100 per week, and then lose €100, you won’t be able to play again until the 7 days is up. We take into account wins, so if you lose €50 and then win €50, you’ll still have a total of €100 to lose before being limited. Setting this limit can help you to stop chasing your losses.

Session Limit

You can limit the amount of time spent gambling. The restriction takes effect instantly. If you hit the limit, you will be automatically logged out of your account. You can set the limit from a period of 6 minutes.

Wager limit

Your account can be set with wager limits. This setting controls the amount of money you can wager per day, week or month. The restriction is immediately applicable. You can reduce your limit at any time, this change will take effect immediately. You can increase the limit, however, in order for this change to take effect, you need to wait 24 hours for email confirmation. Cancellation of the wager limit takes 24 hours. After the limit is exceeded, you will receive an email notification.

Deposit Limit

Your deposits will be limited to the amount that you choose, over the time you have chosen. You can set a limit on your deposits for a day, a week, or a month, for any amount. For example if you choose to deposit a maximum of €100 in a week, the limit will prevent you from depositing more than that amount before the 7 days have passed.

Cooling Off

Need a breather? You can set a Cooling-Off Period for a definite period of time. While the limit is active you cannot place bets, and you will be excluded from all promotional offers, although you may withdraw any remaining funds during this period. The Cooling-Off period is applied to your account immediately. Upon its expiry your account will be automatically re-activated.

Self Exclusion

You can set a Self-Exclusion Limit for a definite period of time. Upon doing so, your Player Account will immediately be disabled and you will be excluded from all promotional offers for the set period. You will not be able to deposit or withdraw funds when the limit is active, and the limit cannot be reversed.

How do I add/amend a limit?

You can add and amend your limits at any time in the Responsible Gambling tab in your account. On each occasion you will receive an email to confirm your new Limit.

Adding a limit:

Loss Limit:

Click on Loss Limit, choose between 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, and enter the limit you wish not to exceed during that time. Click ‘Set Loss Limits’ to confirm.

Session Limit:

Click on Session Limit, input the number of minutes you would like your current session to last. After those minutes have elapsed, you will be logged out of your account.

Wager limit

Click on Wager Limit, choose between 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, and enter the limit you wish not to exceed during that time. Click ‘Set Wager Limits’ to confirm.

Deposit Limit

Click on Deposit Limit, choose between 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, and enter the limit you wish not to exceed during that time. Click ‘Set Deposit Limits’ to confirm.

Cooling-Off

To access this feature, click on Information within Responsible Gambling, turn on ‘Expert mode’. The cooling-off tab will now show on the responsible gambling page. Select the tab and choose the period of limit you would like to cool off for. Confirm by clicking ‘Activate Cooling-Off Limit’.

Self Exclusion

To access this feature, click on Information within Responsible Gambling, turn on ‘Expert mode’. The Self Exclusion tab will now show on the responsible gambling page. Select the tab and choose the period of limit you would like to Self Exclude for. Confirm by clicking ‘Activate Self Exclusion’.

Once self-excluded, please reach out to our support team in order to initiate the withdrawal of the remaining balance. Upon its expiring, your account will automatically be re-activated.

Amending a limit:

Should you need to amend a previously set limit, for any of the above, simply change the information to the new limit and confirm. On each occasion you will receive an email to confirm your new Limit.

How do I remove a limit?

Once you request to remove a limit, you need to wait 24 hours for email confirmation. This rule applies only to the limits set for a certain period of time.
